The Freedom of Commitment

This four-week message series helps teenagers take a dive into a life free with commitment to Jesus. Teenagers will find passion in the relief that commitment to Jesus isn’t about trying harder to get better—it’s about attachment to the source of life that drives us.

As your teenagers let go of their lives’, worry, anger and fear they’ll discover a new-found purpose and passion for following Jesus. See the difference it makes in the families they live in, the schools they attend and the community around them as they follow along and go all-in with Jesus.

With LIVE Message Series: DIVE, you’ll empower teenagers to go all-in with Jesus and release themselves from the cage of “should”…

Jesus Wants All-In Followers

Help teenagers explore the contrasts between half-hearted and all-in efforts, and grapple with what it means to be “all-in” with Jesus. They’ll discover how Jesus’ first disciples were drawn into a deeper level of commitment with Jesus, and pray for the strength to be all-in followers.

Verses: Acts 2:41-42; Acts 2:43-47

Selfless Surrender

Help your teenagers contrast self-interest and self-denial, then explore Jesus’ call for his followers to deny themselves. You’ll also help them dig into what Scripture says about how a relationship with Jesus helps us live selflessly.

Verses: Luke 9:23-25; 2 Timothy 3:1-5; Galatians 5:22-26; James 3:13-18; Philippians 2:1-11

Counting the Cost

Set the stage for a great conversation about the role of risk in a life focused on following Jesus, and lead them in an exploration of what Jesus asks his followers to do. They’ll also learn about historical and modern-day martyrs and consider what they’re willing to give up for Jesus.

Verses: John 21:1-14

Accepting the Cost

After you help them explore the concept of value, lead your students into a close focus on Peter’s decision to obey and follow Jesus. You’ll help them discover that Jesus gives us faith, and helps us overcome our fears so we can walk with him.

Verses: Matthew 4:18-20; Luke 5:1-10

Every new account includes one year of access to the online tool that delivers curriculum and helps you manage your leaders ($99 value).

With our online management system, planning your small groups has never been easier. You can follow our road map and choose which lessons to teach and when. But you aren’t limited to just one schedule! You can set separate calendars if you want different groups to study different lessons.

Once you set a schedule, you can make assignments to small-group leaders so they know exactly what they’re teaching. All they have to do is log into the Live Curriculum using their own account created by you. Not only will leaders see what they’re teaching, but you can send them messages and share files you want them to have for small group.

And because the system’s online, it’s always available so you and your leaders can prepare at your convenience.
